Adding a Number/Email Address to Contact Record
This guide is designed to outline the steps required to add telephone/mobile numbers and email addresses to a contact record in CIS
The contact record looks like this:
To add a new number or email address to a record, click on ‘Numbers’ tab and click ‘New Num’
The following window will pop up:
Adding new email address
- Under ‘Device’ select email
- Enter email address
- Check ‘Valid To’ and ‘Valid From’ dates are correct
- Click ‘Save’
Adding new telephone number
- Under ‘Device’ select telephone (home/work)
- Enter area code
- Enter number
- Check ‘Valid To’ and ‘Valid From’ dates are correct
- Click ‘Save’
Adding new mobile number
- Under ‘Device’ select mobile phone
- Under ‘Area Code’ input first 5 digits of mobile number
- Under ‘Number/Email’ input remaining digits of mobile number
- Check ‘Valid To’ and ‘Valid From’ dates are correct
- Click ‘Save’
