Connect To DUK Azure Virtual Desktop
- allow External to DUK users access to designated DUK Azure Virtual Desktop - AVD Pool and from there access DUK IT network resources, apps, folders,
- learn more about AVD and the Client required to connect to AVD https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/users/connect-windows
These are actioned and setup by DUK IT ops Team as request by Internal Staff whom manage the External User
- a DUK issued credentials in format: firstnam.lastnam@diabetes.org.uk
- a registered mobile DUK IT Ops who will link credentials Microsoft Authenticator on Android or iPhone
- credentials from point 1 is allocated to an AVD Pool and registered to login to Pool
- ! User must install the Microsoft Authenticator on their Android or iPhone (linked to point 2)
- download new (2023) MS Remote Desktop application. This is a standard .msi install file. https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2139369
